Game of Thrones Nominations

Game Of Thrones Nominations, Emmy’s 2017

Game Of Thrones nominations for 2017 Emmys… according to USA Today the show which has been nominated for over 26 Emmys over its 7 seasons will not be nominated for anything in the 69th annual Emmy Awards here

The HBO fantasy series isn’t eligible to continue its run as best drama winner at the Emmy awards this year because its latest season just started airing in June. Two frontrunners have emerged for the coveted prize in its place: HBO’s Westworld and Netflix’s Stranger Things.

“Game of Thrones” has so far won 26 Emmy Awards from 83 total nominations in the drama categories, including trophies for Best Drama Series, Best Casting, Best Stunt Coordination and Best Main Title Design.

HBO’s lead is even more remarkable this year because its flagship series, “Game of Thrones,” which won for best drama the last two years, didn’t make the cut this time around because of its later start date.

However, with Game of Thrones‘ delay shifting it out of the timespan for eligibility, that leaves a very convenient gap for a new victor to emerge triumphant. And the competition is fierce.
